Steve has built his career helping some of the most powerful companies in the world reinvent the way they think about their brands. His philosophy is grounded in the notion that brands need to do more than just survive; they need to thrive. His work focuses on helping companies (of all sizes) get at the essence of what makes them interesting, provocative and relevant.
Prior to Hans Think, Steve was a leader of both global advertising agencies and successful internet organizations. He has a history of turning inspired ideas into impressive marketplace results across a broad range of brands and categories.
On the agency side, his leadership led to award-winning and business-building advertising for elite marketing companies including Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, M&M / Mars and Gallo. He also helped challenger brands like Epson and Coors take share from entrenched category leaders like Anheuser-Busch and HP. As head of Client Services of Saatchi Asia/Pacific, he oversaw the expansion of priority P&G brands across the region, including China.
Steve also brings deep digital experience to the table. He served as Vice President of Brand Marketing of CNET Networks (now CBS) where he was instrumental in re-thinking the Company's overall vision, brand strategy and segmentation. He also was Vice President of Marketing of mySimon and internet start-up, SupportSpace.
